The restaurant has quickly become a local favorite, and with good reason. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee, indulging in a weekend brunch, or enjoying a laid-back dinner, the experience is always satisfying.

The heart of Whisk & Co’s charm lies in its diverse menu. Offering a range of dishes that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences, it's clear the team here puts effort into every plate. For breakfast or brunch, you can’t go wrong with their signature dishes, like the smashed avocado on sourdough, topped with perfectly poached eggs, or the rich and indulgent ricotta pancakes. If you’re after something more savory, the breakfast burrito, filled with fresh vegetables, eggs, and zesty salsa, is a crowd-pleaser. Each dish is thoughtfully presented, bursting with flavor, and served with a side of friendly service.

For those with a sweet tooth, Whisk & Co offers a range of house-made pastries and desserts that are just as delightful as their savory counterparts. From classic carrot cake to decadent chocolate tarts, you’ll find something that hits the spot. The café-style ambiance makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a dessert alongside a rich cup of coffee, crafted from locally sourced beans.

One of the standout features of the restaurant is its attention to quality and sustainability. The team at Whisk & Co works closely with local farmers and suppliers, ensuring that only the freshest, most seasonal ingredients make it into their dishes. Whether it’s fresh greens from local farms or free-range eggs from nearby producers, this commitment to local sourcing ensures that the meals are not only delicious but also support the community.

Not only is the food at Whisk & Co top-notch, but the experience of dining here is equally enjoyable. The restaurant’s décor is modern and inviting, with natural wood accents and a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for both solo diners and groups. The staff are attentive, always eager to recommend the perfect wine pairing or offer a suggestion from the seasonal specials menu.

As a regular visitor, I’ve always appreciated the consistency of quality. It’s not just the food that makes Whisk & Co stand out, but the experience of sitting down to a meal where every detail is considered. Whether you're here for a quick bite or a more leisurely dining experience, Whisk & Co ensures that each visit is memorable.

While the menu features plenty of favorites, it’s their commitment to seasonal ingredients that truly makes each visit exciting. Regularly rotating specials ensure that there’s always something new to try, from inventive salads to hearty mains that satisfy any craving. Their approach to showcasing Tasmania’s natural bounty gives diners a true taste of the region. For example, their seasonal seafood dishes, featuring local fish and shellfish, are always fresh and expertly prepared, leaving you with a lasting impression of the Tasmanian coast.

  • Consistently good food and service. Daily specials and great coffee, and you can have wine or a cocktail if that takes your fancy! It’s very popular and the staff know the names of all the regulars - and their coffee preferences. They have the full range of milk alternatives, and always ask if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. It’s one of those warm, welcoming places where you can count on great food and friendly staff. There’s outdoor tables too, with plenty of umbrellas and also heaters.

  • Very friendly local faces and extremely consistent food. Coffee always on point. Specials can be quite decadent but fun. Does get quite busy in peak times and when it’s loud inside (and outside due to main road) it’s still worth the visit. There’s usually a table or two available even when hectic. Menu may seem quite heavy but here it’s quality over quantity! Kid-friendly as well. Dog friendly outside. Our local now

  • We got the three little pots, the big breakfast and smashed avo and it was some of the best food I have ever had everything was perfect, but nothing beats the service we were served by Bec and instantly she made us want to keep coming back she is so funny and so kind and engages in the conversation to make you feel more like a friend than customer! I would highly recommend this place

  • Our first breakfast in Tassie! Polite, welcoming greeting. Warm and relaxing environment with a great choice on the menu. Great food and presentation. Exceptional coffee, beautiful view out the windows with a range of seating options. I finished off with a refreshing hot tea served with a sand timer allowing the loose tea to develop a great flavour!

  • One of the best cafes in Augusta Road and Lenah Valley. I have enjoyed and highly rated their coffee and food dishes a couple of times now. I would recommend the Eggs Atlantic as a brunch or lunch meal. Long black coffee was yum and so is their milk coffee I will be back!

  • Just needed somewhere nice to sit with a drink and a toilet, so mum and I ducked in here. Menu looks good but a bit too heavy for me right now, just had a drink and shared some shoestring fries which were nice.
